Spectrum Gaming Group offers the following educational programs to the casino gaming industry:

One- to five-day executive education programs designed to provide exposure to the gaming industry for corporate officers, directors and middle management whose companies are entering the industry for the first time, or entering new jurisdictions where laws, regulations, customs and culture are significantly different from those in their present operating areas. These programs are tailored to the specific needs of the attendees.

Technical training courses and briefings from one to two days or longer as required, in subjects such as casino operational controls, casino security planning and procedures, investigative procedures for regulatory agencies, casino staff licensing procedures, and casino marketing.

One- to two-day interactive session workshops designed to assist clients in team-building, segmenting responsibilities in operating versus regulating casinos, developing procedures for background investigations, etc. Additional workshops include casino marketing planning, and strategic planning.

The Stockton Institute
for Gaming Management (SIGMA):
The Stockton Institute for Gaming Management (SIGMA), has launched a comprehensive education program to help the casino industry meet the growing demand for skilled, knowledgeable managers. (See the following articles on SIGMA that appeared in Casino Connection magazine)
SIGMA, formed by The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona, N.J., and Spectrum Gaming Group, has been designed to meet the management training needs of the gaming industry by offering a certificate-based program of specialized courses. SIGMA will help the gaming industry identify, cultivate and equip current and future managers with the knowledge and skills they need to meet today’s challenges, enhance their careers and build leadership capabilities.
The SIGMA Advisory Council has been formed to help identify the industry's
management development needs and to guide the development of courses that meets those
needs. Organizations represented on the SIGMA Advisory Council include Mohegan Sun,
Trump Entertainment Resorts, Tropicana Casino and Resort, Resorts International,
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Sands Hotel and Casino, and Global Gaming Business

with
the Advisory Council and others in the coming weeks to review the specific content desired in customized courses for their organizations. SIGMA required courses will be taught at the Carnegie Library Center in Atlantic City beginning in 2006. Customized versions of these and other courses will be developed for on-site training.
